The cDNA Synthesis Kit is designed for the efficient synthesis of first-strand cDNA from mRNA or total RNA templates. This kit utilizes Reverse Transcriptase (RT), which remains active within a temperature range of 42-50°C. It is particularly suitable for synthesizing cDNA molecules up to 10 kb in length. The cDNA Synthesis Kit includes an RNase Inhibitor, which protects RNA from degradation, even at elevated temperatures of up to 55°C. This ensures the preservation of RNA integrity during the cDNA synthesis process. The resulting first-strand cDNA, generated using this system, can be directly utilized as a template in PCR or real-time PCR experiments, saving time and effort in downstream applications.
