Bacterial cell division has never been explored as a target to develop antimicrobial drugs/antibiotics. With the current trend of growing antimicrobial resistance with established targets like cell wall and protein synthesis and RNA, it is high time new drug targets in bacteria are identified. Exactly, what we intend to do at ProCyto labs; to promote bacterial cell division research and provide researchers the highly purified recombinant proteins used in bacterial cell division research.
